NFS Hospitality has reinforced its position at the forefront of the UK event management market after being selected by Harrogate International Centre to provide a fully integrated venue management solution for its multipl e facilities.
Harrogate International Centre (HIC) is one of the UK’s largest conference centres. The Centre is currently undergoing a multi million pound expansion and refurbishment programme and has chosen NFS’ Rendezvous venue management solution to support this investment.
Rendezvous is NFS’ browser-based conference, meeting room and catering management solution and it will be implemented in each of HIC’s facilities over the next three months.
Stuart Quin, Director of HIC said, “This expansion programmed follows a year-long feasibility study to establish how we can maintain the success we have demonstrated as one of the key event venues in the UK.”
As a result of this study they have embarked on a major refurbishment and expansion programme including investing £8 million in the restoration of the Golden Hall and the acquisition of the ‘Sun Pavilion’ – an inspiring 1930s art deco building offering a unique event location in beautiful gardens. They also identified the need for a venue management system that could cope with our ongoing growth and NFS provided this with Rendezvous.
Rendezvous will support HIC’s expansion by providing advanced functionality for venue staff to manage enquiries, billings and events. It will be installed in all HIC’s venues.
