Planet Hollywood Implement Point of Sale Software from NFS Hospitality

The EPOS specialists at NFS Hospitality are celebrating after Planet Hollywood in Haymarket, London, said Aloha to their specialist hospitality software, making light work of credit card processing and customer loyalty.

Building upon an existing relationship with the chain, NFS introduced their Aloha EPOS software into the Planet Hollywood branch based near Piccadilly Circus over seven years ago, which just goes to show that the Aloha system can certainly stand the test of time.

Peter Carter, Marketing Manager at NFS, the market leaders in point of sale software for restaurants, said, “We have a great relationship with Planet Hollywood and are really pleased that they have chosen to use our Aloha software in their new branch. The restaurant had previously used a Micros system but found it outdated. The Aloha system rose to the challenge, and provides them with better control of product, service and labour costs; better visibility of incomings and outgoings; and general improvements in customer loyalty.”

The Aloha EPOS system also allows the restaurant to keep a record of how many of which products they are selling, and who the customers are. These details can then be stored on a central system and used for conducting email marketing during dry periods.

Allowing Planet Hollywood to deal with over 2000 visitors in a typical day, providing fast and easy tab opening without the changing of screens and preauthorisation of credit cards, and improving stock control, the Aloha system has been a hit from the outset.

It is thought that the new Haymarket branch will continue to bring avid fans the experience that it has become renowned for, allowing visitors not only the chance to see endless film clips, movie props and star-studded paraphernalia, but the chance to experience dining at its very best.
