Reservations
roomMaster offers complete reservations facilities, a flexible advance deposit ledger, an unlimited number of room and rate types, and powerful confirmation letter functionality.
It’s simple to create group blocks or tour operator allocations, import rooming lists from Excel spreadsheets, create group masters, group billing instructions – even generate a group contact which can be emailed to the group
organizer.

Front of house
With roomMaster you can auto assign your rooms,
perform group checking and checkouts with just a
few clicks of the mouse. Individual checking and
checkouts take no longer than 30 seconds.
roomMaster supports a variety of interfaces to
3rd party systems which help in the timely and
accurate posting of charges on to guest and
multiple folios. roomMaster has comprehensive
reservation and guest ledger audit trails which
track every posting, void and adjustment.
Sales ledger
roomMaster has a comprehensive accounting
capability as well as interfaces to many
industry standard accounting systems such as
Sage and QuickBooks.
The Sales Ledger follows a common set of
accounting principles, standards and procedures
that hotels use to compile their financial
statements. Reports such as aged debtors
analysis, sales ledger account statements and
other financial reports can be generated,
providing relevant management information.
Guest history and marketing
No matter if your guest checked out last week or
last year, all the information is still readily
available. With the roomMaster guest history,
you can securely modify past charges and reprint
any folio with ease.
And it has never been easier to use guest
profile information for marketing purposes. Data
can be extracted and used to create a list of
guests to send targeted mailers or e-mail
communications.
Housekeeping and maintenance
It can be a chore to log and track housekeeping
room status changes but it’s easy with
roomMaster. With a bi-directional telephone
interface, housekeeping can log problems and
change the room status using the in-room
telephone.
Maintenance issues can be logged with detailed
descriptions of the work required and reports
generated for maintenance staff by using iQ
Anywhere on a PDA/handheld device.
Reporting
Over 130 reports are available! You can
customize each report with your own title,
preview them on screen and choose whether you’d
like to automatically print before or after your
audit. If you’d prefer to create your own
reports, a separate report writer is also
available.
The Enterprise Edition gives you the ability to
view your data in a way no other system can. A
wide variety of configurable line, bar and pie
charts allows you to spot trends quickly in
order to make informed decisions.
In addition, there are “Quick Reports” available
throughout roomMaster 2000.You can simply pick
the fields you want to print as well as the
order of appearance and a report is created for
you in less than a minute.
End of day
Closing out the day with roomMaster 2000 is fast
and easy. By selecting the “day end” menu
option, you will be notified of any anomalies
which need to be fixed before the day can be
closed unspotted rooms, no-shows, etc.
The night audit report set can be automatically
e-mailed in PDF format to the general manager,
the hotel owner, or a remote management office.

voicemail, restaurant POS, key
locks and central reservation
systems. Checking in a guest can
automatically open the
telephone, clear the voicemail,
change the voicemail to a
guest’s native language and
create a room key card.
