Many of the visitors to InfoComm 2018 were looking for ideas to tackle to the huge transformation in their workplaces, exhibitors NFS Technology have revealed.
The NFS team at the Las Vegas show, which is the largest of its kind in North America, were kept busy helping visitors who were particularly keen to find out about the latest mobile resource scheduling apps
Visitors – including Google – saw how Rendezvous Workspace from NFS, a world-leading meeting room and resource scheduling system, helps organisations use workspace more effectively.
Luis De Souza, CEO of NFS Technology, said: “Many corporate visitors to our booth said their workplaces are experiencing a major transformation as working becomes more flexible.
“Our team was busy with enquiries about maximising the use of workspace for both productivity and staff wellbeing.
“We found our visitors were extremely interested in Rendezvous Workspace’s advanced scheduling aspects of such as its ability to simplify catering and AV/IT requests, its mobile tracker and also QuickBook.”
NFS worked with digital visual communication experts ONELAN at the show to demonstrate the benefits of integrated technology including room scheduling, mobile apps and digital signage.
“I find that companies who use only Outlook to schedule meetings at the moment have no idea about what they are missing,” said Luis.
“In areas where tools including Microsoft Exchange are not sufficient, Workspace allows organisations to bring new efficiency to managing meeting rooms, desks, visitor management, parking and services such as AV, IT, catering and video conferencing – even across time zones.”
Rendezvous’ mobile solution-set fully supports NFS clients on their journey towards a more flexible and connected workplace.
“Our new multiplatform mobile apps offer the user a superbly easy online route to locating and booking the right space,” said De Souza.
“Our apps support QR/Bar code scanning for easy check-in and check-out functionality.”
Luis believes the use of technology to support flexible working practices, wellbeing in the workplace and better productivity can only grow.
“There’s no doubt that a mobile workforce demands mobile solutions,” he said.
“Before InfoComm we expected keen interest in our new multi-platform mobile apps, and that proved to be the case.”
Rendezvous Workspace scheduling is used by leading law firms and corporations in over 25 countries for booking meeting rooms and conferences, with video conferencing management.
ONELAN’s Reserva Room Signage integrates with Rendezvous to display information for meetings scheduled in Workspace, while also providing an interface to book a meeting directly from the display.
“We were delighted to share a booth with ONELAN – their digital signage products are the perfect complement to Workspace,” said Luis.
“InfoComm was a great opportunity for sharing with visitors the facts about exactly how robust and useful modern-day scheduling can be.”
