Leading US Law Firm Opts for Rendezvous from NFS Hospitality Corporation

NFS Hospitality is delighted to announce that Goodwin Procter LLP, based in Boston with a total of eight offices nationwide, has contracted to implement Rendezvous as their room booking software. Rendezvous is the browser-based scheduling solution from NFS, now in use by many law firms internationally.

Because of its powerful functionality and flexibility, Rendezvous has become a popular choice among large law firms to manage heavy demand for meeting room facilities. The browser-based system has powerful calendar management functionality as well as the capability to deal with foodservice and AV scheduling. Outstanding integration with Outlook is also part of the solution. Its security features enable any firm to track visitors from arrival to departure as well as produce visitor badges.

Rendezvous is used by major international law firms including Clifford Chance LLP, White and Case LLP, DLA Piper LLP and Proskauer Rose LLP.

Harrogate International Centre selects NFS for venue management

Harrogate International Centre (HIC), one of the UK’s largest conference centres, has selected NFS Hospitality to provide a fully integrated venue management solution for all its facilities.

 

Over the next three months, Rendezvous, NFS’ browser-based conference, meeting room and food and catering management solution, will be fully implemented, providing advanced functionality for venue staff to manage enquiries, events and billings.

 

Kevin McHugh, Project Manager at HIC, says:

The Centre is currently embarking on a major six-year, £45m expansion and refurbishment programme. According to Stuart Quin, Director of HIC,  “This expansion programme follows a year-long feasibility study to establish how we can maintain the success we have demonstrated as one of the key event venues in the UK.”

 

The HIC’s celebrated ‘”Golden Palace” – The Royal Hall - also reopens next spring after its £8m restoration. It is expected to offer HIC’s clients an inspiring alternative venue for corporate hospitality and theatre events.

 

In addition, HIC recently acquired the Sun Pavilion as part of its portfolio. This 1930s art deco styled building offers corporate event organisers a unique venue, centrally located in beautiful gardens.

Langan’s restaurant group selects new technology

 

Langan’s is one of London’s best-known restaurant names. Since it opened in 1976, it has set a high standard and attracted an A-list clientele in droves. It was founded by the late Peter Langan along with actor Michael Caine and Richar Shepherd CBE, now the sole owner. Today the Langan’s Group operates five restaurants, including Langan’s Brasserie, the flagship.

In terms of management information, Aloha’s range of reporting functions will allow him to keep tabs on profit margins and performance measures such as real-time sales statistics, product mix, employee clock-in status and server performance.


Gary will also benefit from NFS’ 24/7 helpdesk and from Aloha’s added functionality, including the possibility of loyalty programmes, restaurant reservations and head office centralisation.
