Five challenges facing hospitality.

The NFS approach.

Rising costs, staffing pressures, higher customer expectations, pressure on margins, and the challenge of sustainable growth.

NFS brings together the tech, expertise and support needed to help your operation thrive.

From POS and payments to loyalty, stock and labour management, we take the first call, coordinate the ecosystem and keep the tech running, so your teams can focus on your customers.

Your people, empowered.

Cost Pressures

Real, tangible improvements in profitability

From managing labour and stock control, to payment processing and waste reduction, the biggest gains often come from improving the day-to-day decisions that shape your operation. By connecting operational, financial and workforce data, we help you identify opportunities to reduce costs, improve efficiency and strengthen margins.

All that gives us a better idea on how to run our business on a day-to-day basis.”

Steve Lewis, Coyote Ugly

Rising costs can feel relentless, and significant improvements rarely come from one major change. More often, they come from hundreds of smaller decisions made across labour, stock, payments and operations every day.

We help you bring those decisions together.
By connecting workforce management, stock control, payments, reporting and operational data, we’ll help you gain a clearer picture of where profit is being created, where margin is being lost, and where opportunities for improvement exist. Rather than managing multiple systems in isolation, you benefit from a connected view of the business that helps you identify opportunities faster and act with confidence.

As your managed service partner, we help ensure the technology, reporting and processes behind your operation are working together to support profitability, not add complexity.

Loyalty

The guests you keep are worth more than the guests you win.

Winning new customers matters, yet long-term success comes from giving existing customers a reason to return.

The best loyalty programmes don’t train customers to wait for discounts. They’re built on understanding what guests enjoy, what brings them back, and how to create experiences they’ll want to return for. By bringing together data from across your operation, we help turn insight into stronger relationships and more repeat visits.

They have been great at finding solutions we didn’t know we needed at the time.”

Rob Woolford, Brewdog

Customers are visiting less frequently, making every interaction more valuable than ever. The challenge is not simply attracting guests through the door, but giving them a reason to come back again and again.

We’ll help you build a more complete understanding of your customers by bringing together transaction data, loyalty activity and guest information from across the business.

This allows you to create more relevant experiences, targeted campaigns and meaningful rewards based on what customers actually value. Whether you’re looking to increase visit frequency, improve customer retention or encourage higher spend, we help turn customer insight into customer loyalty.

The result is a more repeat visits, higher customer value and stronger long-term loyalty.

Operational Efficiency

Great service happens when your people have the time to deliver it.

Technology can’t replace hospitality, but it can remove some of the things that get in the way. By simplifying everyday tasks and connecting information across your operation, we help teams spend more time focused on customers.

It’s revolutionised how we work.”

Steven Littlefair, Fenwick

Pressure on resources is a reality across the sector. Teams are expected to do more, customers continue to expect excellent service and operators need to maintain efficiency without compromising standards.

We help simplify the day-to-day running of your operation by connecting systems, removing duplicated effort and reducing unnecessary manual tasks.

From ordering and payments to reporting, labour management and operational workflows, we help ensure information moves seamlessly across the business. The result is less time spent managing processes, fewer opportunities for error and more time for teams to focus on customers.

Our role is not simply to provide technology, but to ensure the technology works together in a way that supports you.
Laura nugget: Technology should support your operation, not create more work for it.

Technology should support your operation, not create more work for it.

3

Customer Experience

Would your guests notice if you were one team member short?

The best guest experiences come from great people, supported by the right tech. When tech removes friction from day-to-day tasks, teams spend less time processing orders and more time delivering great hospitality.

By simplifying operations and making information easier to access, we help create the environment that empowers great service.

When you’ve got a setup that is fast, easy, less key depressions, that in turn kind of adds to the guest experience.”

Travis Toyne, Chilled Pubs

Customers don’t judge experiences by the systems you use. They judge them by how easy, consistent and enjoyable every interaction feels.

We’ll help create connected customer journeys by bringing together ordering, payments, loyalty, guest data and operational systems. When information flows smoothly across the business, teams have the visibility they need to deliver faster service, more accurate orders and more personalised experiences.

Every touchpoint matters, whether a customer is ordering, paying, redeeming loyalty rewards or providing feedback. Our role is to help ensure those touchpoints feel connected rather than fragmented.
Because better experiences don’t happen by accident, they happen when people are supported by the right technology and partners.

Ever experienced the painful bill splitting at the end of your meal? We can help fix that.

4

Resilience and Sustainability

Hospitality never stands still. And now more than ever, neither should your tech.

The right partner makes all the difference.
Technology is important, but hospitality businesses need more than software. They need expertise, accountability and support from people who understand the realities of running hospitality operations.

It’s very much partnering rather than supplier and customer.”

Andrew Wrench, Dishoom

You run the operation. We’ll run the ecosystem.

That’s where managed service makes the difference.

Rather than managing multiple suppliers, technologies and support providers independently, you gain one partner, one accountable team and one point of contact responsible for making the entire ecosystem work.

We take the first call, coordinate the ecosystem and stay accountable.
From implementation and integration to ongoing optimisation, support and strategic guidance, we help reduce complexity and provide confidence that your technology ecosystem can evolve alongside your business.

We turn disconnected technologies into one coordinated operation.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Which hotel PMS solutions do you integrate with?

We integrate with many leading hotel PMS solutions, including Mews, Oracle OPERA and Fidelio, Cloudbeds, Infor, Protel, Maestro and Amadeus. These integrations connect your hotel’s hospitality EPOS and property management systems, enabling restaurant, bar and room-service charges to be posted directly to the guest’s folio.

By connecting the two systems, hotels can reduce manual data entry, improve billing accuracy and give authorised teams a clearer view of guest spending. The integration can also support guest verification, revenue reporting and smoother reconciliation across departments and outlets.

Our team will assess your existing PMS, operational requirements and hotel infrastructure before recommending the most suitable integration approach. This helps ensure the hospitality epos system works effectively for a single property, a multi-outlet hotel or an entire hotel group.

Watch our video to discover how NFS approaches hotel PMS integration and helps create a connected hotel technology ecosystem.

A hotel POS system should connect the front desk and F&B in one place. The essentials are a two-way PMS interface for real-time room status and clean folio posting, multi-outlet support across restaurant, bar, room service and events, table management, handheld ordering and kitchen display screens.

Look for integrated payments, real-time stock control, and consolidated reporting across venues. Offline resilience matters too – the system should keep trading if the network drops.

A single system will run every outlet, including restaurant, bar, room service, spa, poolside and conference space, with menus, pricing, tax rules and staff permissions configured independently for each venue, while sharing one product and guest database underneath. Charges from any outlet post to the same guest folio, and items can be transferred or bills consolidated across venues.

Sales, stock and reporting data is consolidated across the entire estate, providing one clear, centralised view. Management can view trading at group level, compare outlets side by side, or drill into a single site for covers, gross profit and staff performance, without maintaining separate systems or reconciling data manually.

NFS supports the integration after installation. We provide a range of comprehensive integration, implementation and support services. We take ownership of and support all the solutions we provide for our clients ensuring that they have total peace of mind.

Our approach is proactive not reactive –  we provide ongoing monitoring, regular health checks, preventative maintenance, software updates, and improvement recommendations. What’s more, we provide a single point of contact – no need to juggle multiple suppliers as we take care of everything.

Yes. A hotel group can use one EPOS platform across all its properties while connecting each hotel to its own property management system. Each integration is configured separately, allowing transactions such as restaurant, bar and room-service charges to be posted directly to the correct guest account.

The group can still benefit from centralised EPOS reporting, menu management and sales oversight, even when different PMS systems are used. Compatibility should be confirmed for each property, as some systems connect directly while others may require an approved integration partner or middleware.

Charges from restaurants, bars and room service are posted directly to the guest’s PMS folio in real time, providing front-desk teams with an accurate, up-to-date view of guest spending and eliminating manual data entry.

When the EPOS and PMS are integrated, authorised staff can use guest information to recognise returning visitors, remember dietary requirements, note preferred food and drinks, acknowledge special occasions and tailor recommendations. This helps teams provide a warmer, more consistent experience across restaurants, bars, room service and other hotel outlets.

Yes. An integrated solution automatically transfers sales, payments and room charges between the EPOS and PMS, helping keep totals aligned. This reduces manual reconciliation, prevents data-entry errors and makes end-of-day reporting faster and more accurate.

Every folio posting can be recorded with key details such as the date and time, outlet, transaction value, guest room, staff member and posting status. Adjustments, voids and refunds can also be tracked, giving management clear visibility and accountability for each transaction.

Hotel management can view food and beverage revenue from restaurants, bars, room service and other outlets in one centralised system. This provides a clear, up-to-date picture of performance across individual outlets, properties or the entire hotel group.

Sales, revenue, payment and operational data can be exported or integrated with accounting platforms such as Sage, Xero and QuickBooks, and business intelligence tools such as Microsoft Power BI and Tableau. This reduces manual data entry and provides clearer insights into performance across outlets, hotels and the wider group.

We begin by reviewing your existing hotel POS, operational workflows, outlets, data and integrations. NFS then creates a structured migration plan covering restaurants, bars, room service, events and other revenue centres, as well as menus, payments, hardware and PMS integration.

Our experienced team manages configuration, data transfer, testing and staff training to minimise disruption to guests and hotel operations. The rollout can be phased by outlet or property, with go-live support to ensure room charges, folio postings and reporting work smoothly from day one.
