Recent International Rendezvous Implementations

Assurance, tax and advisory services giant PwC signed a technology agreement that will revolutionise the way it uses space at its landmark South Africa HQ. The company chose NFS Technology to supply meeting scheduling technology for more than 100 meeting spaces in the PwC Tower, Waterfall, Johannesburg and other PwC offices round the country. NFS to give its staff easy online access to finding and booking the meeting rooms and resources they need for their important operations, even across multi-locations. Like all NFS solutions, it is supported by our award-winning international customer service desk, which provides live help 24/7.

A longstanding South African business relationship was recently confirmed when leading bank Investec decided to extend its work with NFS Technology. We have an eight-year relationship with Investec, supplying the bank with Rendezvous Events venue management software.

Investec is now implementing Rendezvous Workspace meeting and resource scheduling and booking technology at its Johannesburg campus, which has around 500 rooms. We’re delighted at their commitment to continuing to work with us – we feel reflects the strong long-term bond between our two companies,  and an excellent local working relationship.

Allianz is the world’s third largest financial services company, employing 142,000 staff around the globe, and required a room booking system for its new flagship headquarters in Milan, Italy. The Allianz Tower has approximately 300 meeting rooms split over 50 floors, and needed a system that could manage complex room management by floor.
Allianz chose to implement Rendezvous Workspace by NFS, purchased through our Italian business partner Intermark.

The room booking system integrates with ONELAN digital room panels, allowing for customisation specific to Allianz, and offers the ability to use NFS’ extensive API for their customised integration of their in-room panels. Rendezvous Workspace also integrates seamlessly with Outlook, allowing for room booking using the company’s existing systems.

SAGE Publishing is an independent US publishing company based in California, and had detailed requirements for workspace management. SAGE chose Rendezvous Workspace from NFS for room booking, with occupancy sensors and digital wayfinding, to help employees find available desks and huddle spaces. The system integrates with Outlook, allowing room booking via existing systems, and enables employees to manage cross-location bookings for video conference rooms. SAGE plans to roll out Rendezvous’ QuickBook application for future enterprise level room/desk booking.

Rendezvous integrates with Crestron Fusion, with digital room panels and an in-room control system. NFS is also working with Sage on an enterprise-wide project, involving room/ desk scheduling and sensors for flexi space location. The NFS solution is also delivering valuable real-time utilisation information to the facilities team.
