One of Chicago’s leading business graduate schools has selected the Rendezvous venue management solution from NFS Hospitality to manage all the centre’s resource management requirements.
Established sixty years ago, Lake Forest College has strong ties to the local business community and offers its MBA program from three campuses.
The school also offers on-site classes at corporate locations, and so required a venue management system that could be installed across its entire site.
Rendezvous, the advanced, browser-based venue management system, allows the careful and accurate allocation of meeting rooms, food services and other resources. It can also be fully integrated with Microsoft Outlook, which was a key requirement of this leading graduate school.
Greg Kozak, VP of Information Technology at Lake Forest, said, “Prior to Rendezvous our users had to use a separate system to book rooms, even though everyone here uses Microsoft Outlook as standard. As our rooms and resources were managed through another system, many users were not properly booking rooms and this led to terrible problems with scheduling conflicts.“
With Rendezvous, Lake Forest has saved significant time and money in addition to solving its existing problems with the double-booking of rooms. Users can now book meeting rooms, resources and foodservice, as well as handle billing, using a single system.
