A new casual dining experience is coming to London – and the software solution chosen for EPoS provision now, coupled to future-proofing development into new locations later, is Aloha from NFS Technology.
Whyte & Brown is being overseen by Chairman Kevin Bacon, former Managing Director of Jamie’s Italian International, former main Board Director of The Restaurant Group and Non-executive Director of the Ignite Group. Opening in July and situated in Kingly Court, off Carnaby Street, the new restaurant celebrates the diversity of cooking with chicken and eggs in a 3,446 square foot casual dining area and bar, with 132 covers split over two floors and an alfresco courtyard seating 24.
“We are thrilled that such a prestigious establishment has chosen Aloha for its point of sale requirements,” comments NFS Sales Manager Nick Skudder. “The solution provides cutting edge technology from intuitive touch screens featuring latest NCR hardware through to the best hosted applications on the market today.
“Whyte & Brown will now have access to applications like Real Time Pulse which allows instant management decisions based on actual real time trading patterns. Using it, restaurateurs can see, within one second, all live transactions, track sales to labour ratios, view voids and complimentary tickets, see live table information and dictate performance KPIs against budget.”
“They’ll discover that Aloha is compatible with Orderman Sol, the latest hand-held device that uses radio frequency (RF) technology for a strong server-diner experience, with an ability to accentuate the at table process with fast, seamless ordering and the ability to show customers their bill.”
“A fully accredited pay at table chip and pin service and the remarkable ability to print a bill from the same terminal is also available with Aloha.”
Whyte & Brown goes beyond the usual offer of serving exclusively roasted, grilled or fried chicken. It’s a concept that celebrates the extraordinary versatility of the chicken and the egg, aiming to deliver on a range of dishes, served in a relaxed environment at value for money prices.
Says Kevin Bacon: “We are delighted to have selected NFS as our partner. They really engaged during the early stages of getting to know us, which lead us to feel that they completely understood the Whyte & Brown offering and our business principles.”
“NFS were able to offer a platform covering our requirements on launch of operations. More importantly, however, they demonstrated the commitment to future-proof us as we continue to develop into new locations. In the end it was an easy decision.”
