As the giraffe restaurant chain embarks on a major expansion programme across the UK, Aloha restaurant point of sale software supplied by NFS Technology Group has been selected to deliver a great customer experience, whilst helping to streamline operations.
giraffe restaurants was founded in Hampstead in 1998 by Juliette Joffe and her husband Russel. Today the chain boasts 60 restaurants across the UK and two in Dubai, offering food from around the world, served to the sound of great music.

Orderman-SolAs Aloha rolls out across the restaurant chain, giraffe is also looking to add Orderman Sol, Europe’s solution leader in mobile technology. The hand-held device was specially developed for the hospitality industry to deliver orders straight from the table to the kitchen. It’s robust, intuitive, easy to learn and easy to use with a similar user interface to that of the iPod Touch.
The giraffe chain was acquired by Tesco in March last year as part of a strategy to utilise some of the space in larger stores and to offer families a compelling experience outside their weekly shopping trip.
